One-Test All Black Dominic Bird looks to build on a promising first season at the Gallagher Chiefs. The former Crusader had a strong ITM Cup season winning the ITM Cup Premiership with Canterbury for the second consecutive season.

Bird is set to compliment the Gallagher Chiefs strong forward pack alongside his 2011 New Zealand Under 20’s IRB Junior World Championship winning team mates Brodie Retallick and Sam Cane.
